The population is getting older. As the "baby boomers" retire and age, they will need help to continue living at home. We are rapidly approaching a crisis of care. There are not currently enough care providers being trained, and if a system is not in place, we shall see our loved ones move into facilities and not receive the care they deserve.
Worse, there are those who will choose to live at home, and suffer needless tragedy from lack of assistance. Even for those whose families provide care, who trains the family members?
I am proud to be part of the solution. The Homecare Workers Training Center is determined to provide training to those who will care for our elders. Please, support our efforts, knowing that we value our senior and disabled population, and wish to honor them.
